Rebecca Baruch is pursuing a career in writing and directing for both film and television. Having created a distinctive body of work, from short films to screenplays to short stories, Rebecca produces character-driven narratives loaded with imaginative elements. Music and color heavily influence Rebecca’s work, as does her vibrant aesthetic.

Rebecca graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University with a degree in Television, Radio & Film. Two of Rebecca’s short films, IN NO TIME (2017) and GRAY MINIA (2016) have been film festival selections. Rebecca has worked at production companies and studios in Toronto, New York, London and Los Angeles.

Intertwined with Rebecca’s passion for film and television is her energetic leadership and longstanding commitment to giving back. In 2014, Rebecca established the Spotlight Charity Film Festival, a non-profit film festival for students across Toronto, which continues to provide a public platform for young artists to showcase their talent.
